HEY, MY NAME IS
Welcome to my corner of the internet, where I share with you my undeniable passion for all things food, recipes, meal preps, and experimenting with various cuisines. Needless to mention I love documenting the process for your viewing and learning pleasure.
Where it all started…
My passion for food began before I could even speak and I’ve always known my life will be centered around delicious food hence why this little corner of the internet is so special to me.
As far as I can remember I have been fascinated by the kitchen and food! My first memory of being in the kitchen was little 6 years old me wrestling my older sister to chop tomatoes, even though I could barely reach the kitchen counter and I had to get a chair to stand on so I could get to work! This was the beginning of a lifelong passion for cooking.
As time went by and I grew up my passion for cooking only grew stronger! I’ve always found myself front and center of most dinner parties, hosting, and naturally had the love of cooking for people. There’s just something about cooking and pouring my heart into the meals and seeing the expression of satisfaction and happiness on my guest’s faces as they enjoy my meals!

How meal preps helped me lose over 65+ pounds/30 kg while still eating delicious foods
Now, as with everything in life, it’s necessary to do things in moderation and I learned that the hard way. My passion for food was a key part of my life, so much so that I cooked when happy, sad, or indifferent. Food was my own therapy and coping mechanism in life.
But when I realized that I was beginning to feel unwell and unfit, I took charge and did the necessary research to see what would work well for me to gradually lose weight. Let’s say I did just about every diet (keto, one meal a day, vegetarian, low carb, etc…) under the sun, and eventually, after feeling defeated by each one, I decided that perhaps a healthy balanced diet, which would require me to eat 3 times a day and in moderation might be right for me.
So, as a result, I looked into meal prepping and I fell in love with the ease of this method, I got to cook my food in advance, which gave me well-proportioned food to eat every single day, limiting the likelihood of me overeating was my downfall. Now almost 2 years I haven’t stopped and can’t see myself stopping this routine as it has become part of my lifestyle. I have created a list of delicious and healthy recipes that have kept me going and I’ve never found myself bored, in fact, I’ve been so excited every weekend when I got to cook and plan my meals.
I am now a balanced lifestyle enthusiast and I enjoy cooking and sharing inspiring recipes to help others eat healthier and better, without limiting and restricting themselves because life is to be enjoyed and lived well! To date, I’ve lost over 65+ lbs/ 30kgs and maintained the weight loss over the past 2 years with a balanced diet, healthy lifestyle approach, and minimal exercise and you can too!

Food is My Love Language
When it comes to food one thing I love about it is the freedom it gives me to make it my own. My kitchen is technically an au natural lab of deliciousness. I feel as though food is a love language we often don’t acknowledge enough, but it’s one that I definitely speak, read and write in fact I passed with an A* in that class! I fully understand the assignment when it comes to food namely: good ingredients, preparation, memorable flavours, aromatic, and of course presenting the final product with love! We can all agree the best way to discover your food love language is through your taste buds, which requires cooking and experimenting. So I’m trusting my recipes will give you that opportunity to do just that!
Travel Influences
Exploration is my middle name, and over the years I’ve had the pleasure of traveling to some rather amazing places in Africa, Asia, the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, UAE, and the Mediterranean all of which were great experiences that were amplified by the mouthwatering foods on offer. I am the type of traveler that will go to sample the true culture and food of the country first, then find the generic tourist attractions once my heart and belly are full! All these amazing cuisines I tried along the way captivated my imagination and tastebuds, and have inspired most of the dishes I now make. Travelling has certainly opened my eyes to a whole new world of culinary skills, passion, traditions, and experiences that I cherish and will share with you.
Be bold in the Kitchen
Cooking doesn’t have to be repetitive and boring it can be experimental and explorative, without breaking the bank. Just let your imagination run wild while cooking your everyday meals and don’t forget to smile it makes the food taste better! Stay along and enjoy the sweet aroma of what’s cooking!
Thank you for your continued support it means the world to me!
